My Christmas Evening Routine…

My evening routine changes at Christmas time. As soon as school finishes my evening routine changes up big time. Less school work and more fun and games.

So my evening routine starts around 7 o’clock , depending on what I’ve been doing on that particular day.

7pm – Dinner 

During the Christmas season , we like to sit down as a family either watching TV or at the dinner table . This is a nice way to have quality family time .

7.30 pm – Chill 

After dinner like to relax and unwind from the day. This could be watching TV, watching a film, watching you tube or sitting as a family and talking.

8.30 pm – Bath or Shower 

During the winter I love to have a Lush bath and relax but sometimes I don’t have enough time so a shower has to do. Lush bath products are my favorite bath products ! ( If you would like to see a lush haul or my favorite lush products let me know)

9pm – Get ready for bed

I like to change into comfy clothes after the bath , so that I can relax.

9.15 pm –  Christmas preparation 

this involves online Christmas shopping, wrapping presents and writing Christmas cards.

10pm – get into bed 

I like to get into bed and watch a Christmas film to get me into the Christmas spirit !

11.30/12.00 pm – sleep !!

What’s on my Iphone…

 

As some of you may be aware I recently got an Iphone 6S on Black Friday. I ordered my Iphone with BT and managed to get it for £25.00 a month. Before this phone I had an Iphone 5C which was a bit worse for ware and desperately needed upgrading !

As you can see from the images I have three pages of apps on my phone. I try not to have too many apps on my phone this helps to keep the memory free for photos and videos when I’m out and about.

Compared to my previous phone the Iphone 6S has a larger screen, finger printer scanner, better quality camera and a lock screen on the side instead of the top. I love having  a bigger screen because I like to watch videos on the go and it makes them easy and more enjoyable to watch.

The photos show you all the apps I use but I’m going to run through some of my favorites…

Snapchat- I use snap chat every single day without fail. I like to watch others peoples stories , put things on my own story and send snaps to friends. If I could only have one app on my phone it would probably  be snapchat.

AirBrush – AirBrush is a photo editing app. I like to use it to edit selfies ! It can make an average looking selfies look flawless. If you are looking to get a photo editing app I would recommend this and one bonus it’s free .

Colouring – This is a colouring app , I enjoy to use this when I have a little bit of free time and want to take a break. It’s very relaxing and a nice was to escape a busy or awkward situation.

My New Love ..

Over the past month I have really fallen in love with Bio Oil and use it everyday in my skincare routine.  I can honestly say I don’t think I could live without it in my skincare! The bottle says it’s a skincare specialist for scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, ageing skin and dehydrated skin. However I use to remove my makeup everyday by massaging it over my face and then removing it with a damp flannel. It works really well at removing all my makeup and leaving skin feeling fresh. I also use it on my face a lips to keep them hydrated. I get really dry patches on my face and this help to keep the hydrated and stops makeup clinging to them. I like to use it on my lips instead of lip balm cause it keeps them hydrated. It also looks really well under liquid lipsticks and stops them drying out your lips and  clinging to the dry patches. I could recommend this product enough! And even better it’s only £19.00 from Superdrug.

Full New Look Outfit …

I’ve put this outfit together using all New Look clothing available on http://www.newlook.com .

I love how simple this outfit is with it being all black apart from the jacket. It is perfect for a day to day casual outfit but all the items could be used to pair with other outfits or dressed up for a night out. For me the jacket makes this outfit as it adds a nice touch to an all black outfit whilst not being too over the top and taking away from the other items.

Makeup Storage Upgrade Ideas…

I currently have my makeup stored in an IKEA Mickie Desk. I love how this works ,the one long draw has plenty of space for a small to medium makeup collection and the top surface allows for extra storage for pots of brushes , mirrors and small acrylic draws etc.  However due to exams I need to be able to use my desk as a desk. So I have decided to purchase the Alex  drawers also from IKEA.

Lots of youtubers and beauty bloggers have the Alex 9 drawers but I feel like the 5 drawers will be plenty for my medium beauty collection. If you would like to see my makeup collection please let me know I will be sure to add that to my list of future blog posts. Not only will this unit give me lots of room for my growing makeup collection but give me space to store other items as well.  I plan on using the top three drawers for my makeup and the bottom two for electronics and blog related items.
